'Inside Out 2' premiered this month
The movie Inside Out 2 had a lot of emotions from viewers who saw the movie. Most viewers go through life facing new changes, as the main character, Riley, and internalize things as she does.
I can relate to this movie very much. When I was a teenager, I was afraid and sad because people used to gossip about me, similar to how Riley’s friends would talk about her, causing her to feel sadness. I had the same feeling during my adolescence.
The feelings that the character Riley has are the same things people go through, especially young people. For example, Riley didn’t want her friends to leave. Most people feel depressed and mad because some friends have moved on with their lives, and that happens in the movie.
Filmmaker Kelsey Mann said she had anxiety stages at the beginning of her young life. Thus, the character Anxiety takes over Riley’s brain in the Inside Out sequel. That character is popular because most viewers suffer feelings of anxiety when they are stressed out. When I was a teenager, I never had anxiety, but now, as an adult, I suffer from it.
Just like Riley struggled with anxiety and panic attacks, not knowing what to do in the situation, neither did I when I lost my dad.
Most people, like me, also have some related emotional characters who are the reason they like this movie. In the end, this is the best because they brought old and new emotional characters.
