Where Is The ‘Bring It On: All Or Nothing’ Cast 20 Years Later?

The “Bring It On” franchise is a seven-film series centered on high school cheerleading and comedy. The third installment, “Bring It On: All or Nothing”, follows cheerleader Britney Allen who transfers from an affluent school to their rival, where she clashes with the cheer captain and competes against her former team for the chance to appear in a Rihanna music video.

As next month marks the 20th anniversary of “Bring It On: All or Nothing,” let’s delve into what the main cast has been doing for the last 20 years.

Hayden Panettiere

In her role as the protagonist Britney Allen, Hayden Panettiere must adapt to a new social environment and realize that her cheerleader popularity doesn’t mean what it used to. She was 16-years-old when the movie was released in 2006, and she is turning 37 this year. 

Panettiere began her acting career by appearing in a commercial at 11 months old, and she made her film debut at 9-years-old when she voiced Dot in “A Bug’s Life.” Her most well-known film role was Sheryl Yoast in “Remember the Titans.” She found even more success as Claire Bennet in the television show “Heroes”, and later for her portrayal of Juliette Barnes in “Nashville.”

Panettiere got engaged to Wladimir Klitschko in 2013, and gave birth to their daughter Kaya in 2014. She struggled with postpartum depression and alcoholism, which led her to call off the engagement and relinquish custody of Kaya in 2018, who now lives with her father in Ukraine.

She reprised her role as Kirby Reed in the 2022 “Scream” sequel. In 2024, she voiced Samantha “Sam” Giddings in the video game remake “Until Dawn” and worked on the movie “Amber Alert.”

Earlier this year, she starred in the direct-to-video horror film “Sleepwalker.” Last month, she published her memoir titled This Is Me: A Reckoning. According to BuzzFeed, the book details her traumatic experiences in the Hollywood industry, including addiction, sexual harassment, body shaming, bullying, exploitation as a child actress, and relationship troubles. 

Panettiere’s estranged mother, Lesley Vogel, has made comments against the memoir and called her daughter “entitled,” according to an article by Page Six. Panettiere’s younger brother passed away in 2023, which placed additional strain on the family.

On Panettiere’s Instagram page, she announced that the memoir made The New York Times best-sellers list. She also recently came out as bisexual.

Solange Knowles

In her role as Camile, Solange Knowles plays the role of the rival cheer captain who eventually becomes Britney’s friend. She was 20 at the time of release and turned 40 this year.

The younger sister of Beyonce, Solange helped write several songs and spent time as a backup dancer for the hit group Destiny’s Child, but ultimately chose to pursue her own career path. In 2003, she released her first album “Solo Star.”

After appearing in a couple of movies, she resumed her musical career and released more albums. In 2017, she won a Grammy for Best R&B Performance for “Cranes in the Sky.”

More recently, Solange has turned to a wider variety of pursuits. In 2022, she composed an original score for the New York City Ballet. The following year, she designed a glassware collection. In 2024, Solange took part in a Gucci holiday campaign along with her mother. Solange’s only son, Daniel Julez Smith Jr., is a successful model and the two share a good relationship.

Solange was named the first scholar-in-residence at the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music. She will have the opportunity to teach, develop programming, and host student workshops beginning in fall 2027.

Gustavo Carr

In his role as Jesse, Gustavo Carr acts as Britney’s love interest. He was 22 years old when the movie was released and will turn 43 this year.

Carr began as a dancer, where he appeared in commercials and danced backup for artists like Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Katy Perry, The Spice Girls and Paula Abdul, according to IMDB. His work in the 2005 movie Rent helped him launch his acting career, according to a Dance Spirit article. He also modeled for H&M and Harley Davidson.

He scored several minor acting roles throughout the following decade, most notably appearing in “Shameless” in 2018. He guest-starred in the television show “S.W.A.T.” in 2024.

Last year, he released the single “Stargazer” under the alias of Tavo. This move signals a potential return to his singer and songwriter roots.

Emme Marcy Rylan

In her role as Winnie, she plays Britney’s former teammate and replacement captain-turned-antagonist. She was 25-years-old when the movie was released and is turning 46 this year.

Rylan played Lizzie Spaulding on the television show “Guiding Light” throughout the late 2000s, before transitioning to the part of Abby Newman on “The Young and The Restless.”From 2013 to 2020, she played Lulu Spencer on “General Hospital.”

Today, Rylan has three children with her partner Don Money. Her most recent acting role was the 2025 short film “Chatter,” which is an 11-minute-long romantic comedy.

Rylan has recently taken her creativity to a new level by crocheting accessories and making handmade jewelry. She discusses her products on Instagram, and they are available for purchase on both Etsy as well as her website.

Jake McDorman

In his role as Brad Warner, Jake McDorman plays Britney’s ex-boyfriend who cheats on her with Winnie. He was 20 years old when the movie was released and will be turning 40 next month.

His biggest television roles range from “House M.D.” and “CSI: Miami” to “Greek” and “Shameless.”In film, he is known for “Aquamarine,” “Live Free or Die Hard,” “American Sniper,” and “Lady Bird.”

From 2019 to 2024, he played Jeff Suckler on “What We Do in the Shadows.” You might also know him from the 2021 miniseries “Dopesick” or the 2023 Peacock show “Mrs. Davis.” 

McDorman’s acting career hasn’t slowed down. He has a role in the upcoming limited series “The Good Daughter”. It was recently announced that Disney+ will create a television series reboot of “Aquamarine,” leaving fans cautiously hopeful that McDorman could make a return to the iconic mermaid tale.

Danielle Savre

In her role as Brianna, Danielle Savre plays the role of a teammate from Britney’s old squad, who was on an extreme diet to fit the standards of the team which Britney later realizes was wrong. Savre was 18 years old when the movie was released and is turning 38 this year.

According to her Instagram, her first television role was in 2002 on “The X Files.”She worked on shows like “T@gged,” “Too Close to Home,” and “Station 19.”

Recently, Savre narrated the audiobook “This Is a Safe Space” by Lucinda Berry for Simon Audio. She launched her own podcast “Sweet & Savre” where she uplifts women’s voices. She has also partnered with Leuwkings to design a clothing collection. According to her website, she is an advocate for women, girls, and the fight against childhood cancer.

Cindy Chiu

In her role as Amber, Cindy Chiu plays one of Britney’s new teammates. Chiu was 26 years old when the movie was released and is now 46. Originally born in Taiwan, she grew up in Texas and was a real-life cheerleader throughout her time in college.

In 2005, Chiu played a cheerleader role in the film “Coach Carter”. The same year as “Bring It On: All or Nothing,” she performed stunts for “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.” Other notable roles include guest-starring on television shows such as “The Mentalist” and “Law & Order: LA.”

While Chiu has largely taken a break from acting, her son Robert G. Chiu has followed in his mother’s footsteps by becoming an actor. He voiced Chin in the 2020 movie “Over the Moon” produced by Netflix, which received a nomination for Animated Feature Film at the 93rd Oscars.

Francia Raisa

In her role as Leti, Francia Raisa plays another one of Britney’s new teammates. Because she was 17-years-old at the time of filming, Raisa said in an interview that she had to be legally emancipated in order to join the cast. She is a bilingual first-generation American of Mexican and Honduran descent who will turn 38 next month.

Raisa found television success on “The Secret Life of the American Teenager,” and went on to act in hit shows like “Grown-ish” and “How I Met Your Father.”

Today, Raisa is a strong advocate for several causes. She donated a kidney in 2017 to her friend Selena Gomez, is a visionary alliance member of the National Hispanic Media Coalition, spoke out in support of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, and took part in Go Red for Women.

Giovonnie Samuels

In her role as Kirresha, Giovonnie Samuels plays another cheerleader who is one of Britney’s new teammates. Samuels was 20 years old at the time of the premiere and will be 41 this year. She spoke out in 2021 about controversies surrounding how “Bring It On” approached body image.

You might know Samuels from the Nickelodeon sitcom “All That,” or classic Disney Channel shows such as “That’s So Raven” or “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.” In 2022, Samuels reprised her role in “Raven’s Home.” 

Today, she is working on the upcoming film “The OG Bootcamp.” In an interview with Medium last month, she mentioned how she provided positive representation for young black girls in an industry that often used “token” characters. Samuels has founded her own company, Soul Not for Sale Productions and started a podcast, both of which are focused on uplifting marginalized voices.
