You don’t have to be dressed in costume and walk door-to-door tonight to enjoy some Halloween treats. There’s more to it than just candy and this list can help you plan your lunch or dinner idea before the first trick-or-treater rings your doorbell. Happening today, here’s a list of spots to add some spooky fun to your day.
Wendy’s is offering a deal through their app for a free 4-piece saucy nuggs order. Their fairly new addition to the menu is their regular chicken nuggets, just coated in sauces like garlic parmesan, buffalo and honey BBQ.
Head to Chipotle to grab a ‘BOOrito’ and if you’re in costume ordering in person, it’s only $6.
Annie Anne‘s is offering a free Halloween bucket you can reuse for your treats.
Buffalo Wild Wings is offering a buy one get one free deal on boneless wings.
Papa John‘s Pizza gets creative with a pizza shaped like a jack-o-lantern for $9.99. Or if Pizza Hut is your preference, they have a personal garlicky pizza and fries or wings for $6.99 in their My Haunt Box.
Denny’s doesn’t have any specific treats rather is offering free delivery on orders today at their website.
Other sweet treats may include Baskin Robbins, Carvel and Cinnabon. The ’31 Flavors’ retailer is offering their app customers a buy one, get one half off deal on sundaes, $5 off a $35 cake or 31% off all scoops of ice cream today. The cool treat can also be found at Carvel through DoorDash and UberEats. Order a cake over $30 and get $5 off. They also sell cute themed cakes for your kids with characters like Crunchie Munchie Monster. And Cinnabon sells a Halloween Sprinkled CinnaPacks to start your day off right.
Jamba jumps on the pumpkin train with their Pumpkin Pie Crunch smoothie with granola added and the classic pumpkin coffee.
In a last minute bind and looking at an empty candy bowl? The classic Halloween candy M&Ms are here to help with a candy delivery off their website if you order before 5pm EST.
No word from any offering from Brach’s polarizing candy corn, but when you are the quintessential Halloween candy for over 100 years, you can rest on your laurels.
Halloween has seen a steady increase in popularity over the years. Many of us may remember grabbing an old pillowcase and a hand-made costume put together the night before, but things are changing. According to the National Retail Federation, spending on the spooky season has been trending upward for nearly 20 years. While 2024 is showing a bit of a drop in total spending, it’s still a massive amount at $11.6 billion dollars versus a $12.2 billion dollar tab from last year. Not only has spending increased, but those Americans participating in the holiday has increased from 53% to 72%.
