Popular TikToker and Hype House reality star Jack Wright has made some serious accusations against fellow TikTok superstar slash ex-friend and TikTok collaborator Sienna Mae Gomez. Telling his #HimToo story in a YouTube video posted on Jan. 20, Wright alleges that he was a victim of sexual assault by Sienna Mae.
Titled “what sienna mae did to me,” the 17+ minute video with over 17M views confirms the multiple allegations that have been swirling around about Sienna Mae’s sexual misconduct with Wright. On May 30, 2021 Wright’s best friend slash TikTok personality Mason Rizzo publicly accused Gomez of sexually assaulting Wright in a now deleted tweet, according to Insider. According to Wright, Gomez’s family told Rizzo to “take down his tweet” because they wanted to “settle things offline” with Wright’s family, per his YouTube video.
Rizzo’s quick tweet and delete ignited a response from fans and Gomez herself. Defending her name, on June 1, 2021 Gomez posted a YouTube video claiming the rumors to be “unequivocally false,” according to Insider. Shortly after Gomez’s initial response video, a TikTok account called Lachlan Hannemann posted a video on June 3 that supposedly showed Gomez kissing and touching Wright. Hannemann—who is also a friend of Wright according to the Daily Mail—alleged that Wright was “unconscious” when Gomez was touching him, according to Insider.
The next day on June 4 Gomez denied Hannemann’s accusation, asserting in a response video that Hannemann’s video had been manipulated, according to Insider. Wright’s Jan. 20 video inserted his own voice into the Gomez sexual misconduct conversation, confirming the multiple claims made by his friends prior to his YouTube video.
Within the video Jack Wright opened up about a few incidents with Gomez in which he felt violated by his buddy that he met back in high school. During the video an emotional Wright calls out Gomez for “gaslighting” him and denying her sexual misconduct right before spilling his account of events with her.
The first sexually inappropriate encounter that Gomez had with Wright was after the filming of one of their videos. Wright alleged that after they were done filming Gomez got “completely naked” and “straddled” him while he was ‘chillin’ on his bed in his bedroom. At that moment Wright told Gomez repeatedly to “stop” and to “get off” of him, however she didn’t until he physically removed her and left the room, per Wright’s video.
In the video Jack Wright implies that Gomez had behaved sexually inappropriately with him on numerous occasions after his bedroom incident, revealing the details about Gomez interacting with him while he was unconscious. While on a Hawaii trip with Gomez and some friends, Wright alleges that Gomez groped him while he was “passed out.”
“The Hawaii incident happened where I was passed out, unconscious almost like the whole night,” Wright said in the video. “She [Gomez] got on top of me, took advantage of me, [and] groped me,” Wright claimed. Wright added that he was ‘so glad’ his friends ‘pulled her off’ of him.
Throughout the video the 18-year-old Hype House star chronicles his friendship with the fellow 18-year-old TikTok influencer, explaining different incidents of Gomez’s alleged sexual misconduct. Wright claimed that Gomez would often take advantage of him when he was in his “most vulnerable state.” Like when he was sleeping.
“She would break into my house and when I was sound asleep, she would come into my room and I’d wake up to her hand in my pants,” Wright alleges in the video. According to Wright’s video, Gomez and Wright were in a “toxic” friendship cycle simply because she had feelings for Wright that were unreciprocated. Gomez did claim in a now deleted YouTube video that Wright “misled” her, according to NBC. However, in his video Wright claims that Gomez knew and understood that they were only friends.
Shortly after Wright released the accusatory video many people in Twitterland and on social media came to his defense, showing support for Wright and praising him for speaking out.
“SIENNA MAE SHOULD BE REMOVED OFF OF TIKTOK AND LOSE ALLLLLL OF HER BRAND DEALS. WE NEED TO BELIEVE MEN JUST LIKE WE SHOULD BELIEVE THE WOMEN. IT TAKES COURAGE TO COME FORTH WITH SUCH CIRCUMSTANCES— JACK WRIGHT YOU ARE LOVED & I HOPE YOU HEAL <3,” someone tweeted.
Many also felt that sexual assault isn’t only experienced by women nor perpetuated only by men, therefore men who are victims of sexual assault by women shouldn’t be invalidated.
“Comments on Jacks video and this article are disgusting! Sexual assault happens to men too,if this was sienna coming forward no one be saying any of these disgraceful messages! #jackwright,” someone tweeted.
Since Wright’s video, and the backlash Gomez has received, Gomez has addressed the situation from her own perspective—accusing Wright of spreading “falsehoods” about her.
“Other than spreading falsehoods about Sienna online, Jack has taken no action,” Gomez’s representatives said in a statement to Yahoo. “There has been no police investigation — not even a police report to our knowledge — no charges, no private lawsuit and no contact between Sienna and Jack or their respective legal teams in many months. It was always Sienna’s desire and intention to handle this privately vs in the court of public opinion, as she would never want to sensationalize or degrade the seriousness of sexual assault. Sadly, Jack’s blatant disregard for the truth has left us with no choice but to address these claims publicly.”
Gomez’s reps have also called out Wright for “slut shaming” her and colluding with his friends to victimize a successful “woman of color,” alongside denying she ever sexually assaulted him.
“Not only are these attacks baseless and false, the release of his most recent video is indicative of the public narrative that Jack and some of his friends hope to use as a crutch to further their lies,” the statement says. “Jack and his collaborators have attempted to utilize blatant slut shaming culture to justify their fictitious claims and have effectively victimized a successful woman of color in a way that, regrettably, we have seen many times before, all in an effort to use her suffering as a catalyst for their own personal gain. Those who have collaborated, in this act of slander, did so with the motivation to further associate themselves with Sienna after their professional relationship, and therefore their claim to any portion of her substantial success, were terminated.”
The statement also reiterated that Gomez’s relationship with Wright was always “cordial and consensual.”
“Jack’s false claims began after Sienna wished to end the relationship out of feelings of being used and misled through their time together,” the statement said. “While Sienna understands several personal reasons Jack may be engaging in this behavior, she holds true to her character and will not share details of Jack’s personal life as she understands the type of hurt and harm it could cause him,” the statement reads. “Once again, Sienna vehemently denies these claims. Moreover, she wants to publicly apologize to all victims of sexual assault for the manner in which Jack is attempting to use her for his own selfish reasons to exploit sympathy. Sienna has never wanted to engage in this narrative publicly or disrespect the insurmountable pain and trauma associated with credible claims of sexual assault and hopes they can be halted immediately to reduce further harm to sexual assault victim and survivor communities.”
Aside from Gomez’s reps, Gomez spoke directly to fans in a Medium blog post published Jan.22, admitting to falling for Wright because of the “couple” title forced unto them by the public.
“We were thrown into a crazy, exciting relationship because the public demanded it,” Gomez wrote. “We couldn’t make enough content together. If we went just a few days without the other in our videos, the press would run stories like, “Did Jack and Sienna break up?” and people would comment things like, “If they don’t get married I don’t believe in love.” Major companies were reaching out with brand deals for us and Jack even switched agents to make it easier for work opportunities. Somewhere along the way, and in a very confusing state of not knowing what was fake and what was real, I started to fall in love with him.”

Irrespective of Gomez’s statement, Medium post and skeptics on social media, Wright stands by his accusations.
“I believe Sienna is struggling to face the truth and the harmful, painful choices she’s made,” Jack Wright told NBC in a statement on Monday (Jan. 24). “Every word in my video is the truth.”
From their collaborations both Wright and Gomez have acquired a large following. Right now Wright has over 9M TikTok followers, and Sienna Mae Gomez has 14M followers on TikTok.
