Snoop Dogg opened his first Dr. Bombay Ice Cream shop in Venice California
Snoop Dogg, the worldwide musical icon for generations of rap music fans, has decided to enter the ice cream business.
The beloved rapper is looking for his first professional taste tester for his ice cream brand, Dr. Bombay, which he co-founded with Happi Co. Applications for the role opened on August 27, and will remain open for three weeks after that date before closing.
“The International Ice Cream Taste Tester will work on a three-month contract basis, earning $10,000 per month. The role is fully remote and open to applicants globally, with regular check-ins with the Dr. Bombay team and some travel expected,” Dairy Foods reported.
This means anyone in the world can be considered, and the taste tester chosen could make $30K for three months. The flavors that are on the menu for a taste tester to try so far, per Dr. Bombay’s website, are the following flavors, Baked Blue Berry Muffin, Peanut Butter Jelly Time, Strawberry Cream Dream, Tropical Sherbert Swizzle, Iced Out Orange Cream, Sticky Caramel Apple, and, Long Beach Fruit Cart.
The team is searching for a taste tester who is open to culinary experiences, has good social skills, and is keen on spotting trends.
While it’s not required, those who are more in tune with things connected to building brands, food culuture, and content creation might be preferred job applicants.
“At Dr. Bombay, we craft ice cream flavors everyone loves, meaning we need someone on staff who can serve as our global tastemaker. By working with Deel (the HR company), we can find our International Ice Cream Taste Tester in any corner of the world,” said Dr. Maya Warren, Ice Cream Scientist for Dr. Bombay.
Snoop’s team will be involved in reviewing candidates, and Snoop Dogg will call the winning applicant to congratulate them personally on being accepted for the prestigious position in the company.
While Deel and Dr. Bombay will only be using an initial three-month contract with each other, the door will be open for more work, such as making content for the new hire.
