Every Tuesday, the iconic pizza brand, Pizza Hut offers a deal on Personal Pan Pizzas for $2.
Available since July 8, this deal has made shockwaves every week, so much so that it will be extended past the month of July.
Lasr week, the company confirmed with USA Today about the extended deal. Despite it going past July, there’s still no word on how long this deal will last or how long it will be extended.
The personal pan deal and can be ordered through the Pizza Hut app. Although the offer is available at all Pizza Hut locations in the United States, not all locations may offer it.
Pizza Hut commented on their reasoning and motivation for having these deals, claiming that it “holds a special place in their hearts” for many pizza lovers
“The personal pan pizza holds a special place in the hearts of our guests, and we’re celebrating the love and passion for this iconic fan favorite with $2 Buck Tuesday,” said Chief Marketing Officer of Pizza Hut U.S., Melissa Friebe, in a statement.
“The response has been nothing short of incredible, and we are even selling out of personal pizzas at thousands of restaurants across the country. Our goal is to give guests more of what they love, and this offering has proven to do just that.” Friebe added.
Besides the personal pan pizza, Pizza Hut offers deals such as the Hunt Lovers Pizza, with multiple toppings, such as meat lovers and veggie lovers, all priced under $13.
The personal pan pizza quickly became a viral sensation, where people on social media are talking about it everywhere. On places such as Facebook, parents recall how happy children are with this deal.
“The kids are so pumped when I walked through the door with these little boxes of happiness,” said one parent.
“As long as Pizza Hut has those two personal pan pizzas that’s what my kids gonna request every Tuesday,” said another parent.
Despite the overwhelming positive reaction to the $2 deal, specific customers have expressed disappointment with the outcome. One TikTok user expressed that, her Pizza Hut was not participating in the $2 deal.
“The Pizza Hut in my town isn’t participating.” The commenter said.
Another TikTok user expressed that they were shocked to learn that their personal paying pizza was just a slice.
Despite the extension, it’s unclear how long the extension will last.
