Keke Palmer continued to turn heads as she appeared at the SAG Awards Sunday night.
The awards show honors stars in television, production, and movies. Palmer promoted her new film, One of Them Days, on stage during the event and presented an award at the ceremony alongside Colman Domingo.
“Presenting is a little spooky, but I’m doing it with Colman Domingo,” she said on the red carpet. “He’s a friend.”
Taking place at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles, the star stepped out at the red carpet entrance to the 2025 SAG awards in the 1985 archival Chanel gown that was once worn by Jamie Lee Curtis almost 40 years ago.
Stylist Molly Dickson confirmed speculations on her social media by posting a flashback picture of Jamie Lee Curtis wearing the same dress in 1986.
Even in 1986, Curtis wasn’t the first to wear the gown. The look appeared on Chanel’s ready-to-show runway in 1985, modeled after Ines de la Fressange. It was accompanied by the bold black and golden neckline covering the entire dress’s top.
Both Palmer and Curtis wore the look head to toe, with long black opera gloves to complete the look. Unlike the Scream star with glistening bedazzled gold earrings, Palmer wore different jewelry sets despite the similar look.
It wasn’t just the nostalgic dress that caught the eyes of many. The True Jackson VP star wore a bright copper, slightly curled bob. Palmer also glammed up with eyeshadow and bold red lipstick.
Curtis was also in attendance, sporting a sequin-covered Dolce & Gabbana gown paired with a feather bolero, which pays homage to her role in “The Last Showgirl.”
“I adore Jamie Lee Curtis and that she’s sporting that twice-divorced bird meme look at #SAGAwards,” one person said in reaction to Curtis’ dress.
Curtis ultimately noticed Palmer wearing the dress at the ceremony.
“As much as I would love to say it was mine, it was borrowed from my friend @debopp, and I’m thrilled to be anywhere near @keke in her style, grace, and talent.” Curtis wrote on her Instagram.
It was a massive weekend for Palmer; just the day before, she won Entertainer of the Year at the NAACP Image Awards.
