Lady Gaga Fans ‘Can’t Believe’ That ‘Gaga Chromatica Ball’ is Finally Coming

Lady Gaga, known for her massive influence on pop music, announced via Instagram on Wednesday that her long-awaited concert special for her album, Chromatica, will air later this month on HBO.

The concert special is titled Gaga Chromatica Ball. In one of the Instagram posts that the Poker Face songstress promoted Gaga Chromatica Ball in, she explained why the concert special was so meaningful.

“I’m so excited that we can finally share The Chromatica Ball film with the world. This film chronicles a time of immense creativity…the fashion, the dance, the music,” Lady Gaga captioned the post showing the concert special’s trailer.

She added: “Revisiting the tour leaves me speechless the way we had each other—you all showed up for music and art in a big way, and with a level of excitement and freedom that I will never forget. Stadium after stadium. Sold out crowds. The deafening singalongs”

Toward the bottom of the aforementioned post’s caption, she penned a sweet message to her fanbase which she affectionately calls her little monsters.

“I love you monsters more than I can say. See yourself in every vocal, every fabric choice, the choreography, every image… Here’s the truth—no matter where life or my career has taken me, my time with you always is a path back to a very powerful part of myself. In a stadium filled with YOU it came to life,” the award-winning singer-songwriter ended her caption with.

“Thank you for that feeling I hope you will feel seen when you watch this film. And know that I edited it carefully to honor you.”

Fans have reacted positively to the news, with many of Lady Gaga’s “little monsters” going to Reddit to share their excitement. 

“This year is crazy because Gaga is actually delivering on something she kept teasing. GAGA IN SPACE found exploding in orbit,” one shared in the Reddit thread.

“OH MY GOD ITS HAPPENING,” another exclaimed in the forum.

“Omg I’m so hyped. This has got me wanting for Gaga to tour again,” a third person remarked.

The Alejandro singer has become well known for her bold and unique concepts, which have translated well onto the stage and given fans memorable performances. So, it is no doubt that the concert special will be a hit among fans.

The concert special is footage from her Lady Gaga: Chromatica Ball tour stop at the Los Angeles Dodgers stadium in September 2022. The Lady Gaga singer released her album Chromatica in 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown that year, she didn’t get the opportunity to perform songs from the album until her Lady Gaga: The Chromatic Ball tour in 2022.

Gaga Chromatica Ball has been highly anticipated since Lady Gaga announced last year that there would be content from her Chromatica Ball tour that would be released as a film.

The concert special debuts on May 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and will be available to stream on MAX.
