The Egg McMuffin uses fresh eggs, unlike the scrambled and sausage burrito option that uses liquid eggs.
Some fast food chains, such as Chick-fil-A and Subway, currently do not use whole fresh eggs. However, it has been reported that both of these companies have pledged to transition to 100% cage-free eggs by the end of 2025 for Subway in North America and by 2026 for Chick-fil-A.
Major chains like Wendy’s, Taco Bell, Whataburger, and Panera Bread offer fresh eggs on their breakfast menus.
Many fast food restaurants offer fresh eggs, while others use only a liquid, pasteurized egg mixture.
Burger King does not use 100% fresh whole eggs; instead, it opts for liquid egg-pasteurized ingredients.
Some people believe that consuming liquid eggs isn’t as bad as it’s made out to be; however, it is advised to do so in moderation and not too frequently.
Sadly, for those who enjoy their favorite coffee with breakfast, Dunkin’s breakfast menu does not include fresh eggs.
Many individuals love Dunkin for its and variety of breakfast sandwich options. It is confirmed that the ingredients contain Soybean oil, corn starch, xanthan gum, and cellulose gum.
That being said it makes more sense why fresher eggs is one of the biggest factors that plays a role in the quality of eggs in how it taste and looks.
For those who are Starbuck lovers it looks like the breakfast option is not looking to promising as Starbucks is known for its great quality.
The Double Smoked Bacon, Cheddar, and Egg sandwich contains a bit more liquid egg rather than fresh. It is mentioned that there are modified ingredients in this food option.
Burrito breakfast fans there is some bad news if you are a Del Taco customer. The similar ingredient pattern that is used by previous fast food chains is not any different from Del Taco.
It is reported that Del Taco includes each ingredient as only one of the few places to be as informative as possible.
