It was a Travis and Taylor Thanksgiving special. On Thursday, the famous couple celebrated the holiday with the usual turkey and stuffing along with their respective families.
Taylor’s parents, Scott and Andrea, were in attendance at her Nashville home along with Travis’ parents and big brother Jason and his family. This celebration seems to be last-minute as just a week before Thanksgiving, Travis’ mom Donna said in an interview that they would probably be celebrating separately since Taylor has a lot on her figurative plate, “She’s kind of busy right now. She still has the tour to do.” No extravagant dinner had been planned as she explained further, “I think we’re just going to be at the football game.” Taylor wraps up the Eras Tour on Sunday.
They managed to arrange a holiday meal and all made it to said football game on Friday. Jumping on their private jet, they headed to Kansas City where Travis and his team took on the Las Vegas Raiders with a 19-17 win. The defending Super Bowl Champs boast an 11 and 1 record as they head into the final weeks of the regular season.
This is the first year the couple has been able to celebrate together. Last Thanksgiving, Taylor was in South America with stops on her Eras Tour. A source tells People magazine, “Taylor and her family were excited to host the Kelces this year. Travis’ brother Jason was there with his family and kids too. It was very festive and special.”
Jason and his wife Kylie were married in 2018 and have three daughters, ages 5, 3, and 1, with a baby on the way. Travis and Taylor have been dating for a year and a half and have been spotted supporting each other at concerts and football games. As of late, Swifties have been speculating and theorizing that Travis will soon pop the question, given how close he and the songstress have gotten over the last year.
