Hailey Bieber is adjusting to the mom life since welcoming her baby with her husband, Justin Bieber.
Hailey Bieber, 27, model and Rhode founder shared on her Instagram Story on Monday a clip from the 1988 animated movie The Land Before Time. In the scene, the baby dinosaur Ducky hatches out an egg with a big grin on her face.
While her post did not include a caption, fans have theorized on X, formerly Twitter, that she was watching the movie with Justin, 30, and their baby.
A baby boy named Jack Blues Bieber, who was born on August 23, 2024. Justin Bieber, who fans say is entering his “daddy era,” shared via Instagram along with a photo of his baby’s foot wrapped in a blanket as Hailey seemingly held the baby’s foot. He captioned the post, “WELCOME HOME JACK BLUES BIEBER.”
The baby was brought home from the hospital, and a source told People that both mom and baby are “doing well” at home.
The couple announced Hailey Bieber’s pregnancy via Instagram back in May, sharing a series of photos and videos that showcased her baby bump as the pair renewed their vows. In the pictures, Justin Bieber photographed Hailey while she cradled her belly. Another photo showed the couple placing their hands on her stomach.
After the duo shared the news, a source told Us Weekly that they were “grateful” to expand their family.
“It was everything they needed. Hailey is feeling really good,” the source said. “They decided to renew their vows to embrace a new chapter together. They wanted to renew and restore their faith in God together, and in their relationship. It was a new commitment and a fresh start for them as a family of three.”
Additionally, Hailey and Justin Bieber had discussed expanding their family before when the timing was right. Back in December 2020, Justin Bieber said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, “I’m going to have as many as Hailey is willing to push out. I’d love to have myself a little tribe. It’s her body and whatever she wants to do.”
Justin Bieber added, “There’s not really an issue, but I think Hailey still has some things she wants to accomplish as a woman.”
At the time, Justin Bieber did not think Hailey Bieber was “ready” just yet and was willing to wait on family planning. Hailey and Justin Bieber first met in 2009 when she was just 13. She then saw Bieber again at the 2011 premiere of his documentary movie, Never Say Never, but it wasn’t until 2014 that the pair started spending time together.
Initially declining their romance, “We’ve just been good friends over the years,” Hailey Bieber told E! News; she eventually admitted that they were having a fling at the time. She told E! News in February 2016, “We are not an exclusive couple. He’s about to go on tour. Relationships at this age are already complicated.”
Like many relationships, Hailey and Justin Bieber had issues at the start of the relationship. Emotional scars were the cause of Justin Bieber being unable to fully commit to Hailey Bieber at that time. Justin Bieber explained to GQ in 2016, “I know that in the past I’ve hurt people and said things that I didn’t mean to make them happy in the moment. So now I’m just more so looking at the future, making sure I’m not damaging them.”
However, Justin Bieber was never far from Hailey Bieber’s mind, despite going their separate ways.
“He was the first person I ever had real feelings for,” Hailey Bieber told Vogue. “When things kind of went South for a little bit and we went our separate ways, I just knew that no matter what the outcome was going to be, he was going to be somebody that I loved for the rest of my life. No matter what, he was always going to hold a special place in my heart.”
But where there once was a flame there was a fire. As it turns out, he didn’t stop loving her either. All they needed was time to work on themselves, to grow up, and to take a step back to gain perspective, which can be vital to problem solving.
By the time the pair saw each other in June 2018, they were “past the drama” and it didn’t take long for them to not only rekindle their flame, but the relationship became extremely serious.
In July 2018, they got engaged, and in September they moved in together, wedding at a New York City courthouse in September 2018.
