Why Fans Think “Euphoria’s” Angus Cloud and Maude Apatow are a Thing

Since the beginning of season 2 of Euphoria fans of the show have been shipping Fezco (Angus Cloud) and Lexi (Maude Apatow). Cloud and Apatow’s chemistry is so palpable on-camera that it has people speculating about if Euphoria’s “Fexi” are actually a thing outside of the show. As of lately, there have been some signs that are leading fans to believe that Cloud and Apatow may possibly be dating in real life.

Aside from Euphoria, there isn’t much known about Cloud or Apatow—except that Apatow is the offspring of Hollywood superstar married couple Leslie Mann and Judd Apatow. Both actors happen to keep their personal lives private, making it harder to pinpoint exactly what’s happening in Cloud and Apatow’s love lives. Nevertheless, there are still inferences that could be made through their social media posts—like when Cloud tweeted a photo of him and Apatow hugged with big smiles captioned “A lil NYC date.” 

The body language between Cloud and Apatow in the photo was looking very couplish, thus why it caused a stir on Twitter. Someone went as far as to comment, “No like I’m already ready for the wedding” under Cloud’s tweet with Apatow. Now, I don’t think the Euphoria costars are on the way to the altar anytime soon, however they are giving off #relationshipgoals vibes. 

Alongside Cloud’s tweet, another hint that the two actors may be dating is Apatow and Cloud dressing in matching outfits at Thom Browne’s NYFW Event. There is nothing that screams #couplealert more to me than one two people go to a dinner event-gathering dressed alike. 

According to JustJared, “the 24-year-old actress and the 23-year-old actor wore matching outfits while attending Thom Browne‘s tartan themed dinner during New York Fashion Week on Tuesday (February 15) at The Grill in New York City.”
