Every time Beyoncé pops out she shows the world why she is deserving of the title Queen Bey. Since her reign, Yoncé has taught the world how to booty pop, helped young girls appreciate being bootylicious and lead social movements through her music. Queen Bey has conquered everything from acting to modeling, and now she is dominating the fitness fashion industry.
Collaborating with the fitness brand Peloton, creators of the high-tech Peloton treadmills, Mrs. Knowles-Carter will be teaming her Adidas x Ivy Park label with the company to release a capsule collection. This is the first Peloton x Ivy Park collection, and consists of footwear and apparel.
Beyoncé’s partnering with the famed fitness equipment company for her new fitness fashion collection isn’t the first time she’s collaborated with the brand. In 2020, she teamed up with Peloton to gift HBCU students with a multi-year Peloton digital membership.
“We believe that the power of music can help uplift, motivate and inspire those on their fitness journeys, ”Beyoncé said in a statement. I’ve been a Peloton member for several years, and I’m excited to partner with a company that helps people, young and old, be the best versions of themselves, in an innovative and adaptable way. This year has tested all of us and I know the college experience looks a little different than planned, and many were not able to celebrate Homecoming the way they wanted to. Still, I hope everyone was able to take time to reflect and to celebrate the strength, excellence and resilience of our community. I’m proud to celebrate the students at HBCUs with this donation, to encourage them to find and embrace their own wellness regimens.
Alongside the gift of fitness to HBCU students in 2020, Beyoncé also worked with Peloton to form “class curation across all workout disciplines including music, movement, fitness and wellness,” according to a Peloton press release.
Ivy Park announced the upcoming Peloton X Ivy Park line on Friday (October 22) with a short—yet aesthetically pleasing—video highlighting the new stylish athletic wear that is coming soon. Dubbed #PelotonPark, the video featured Peloton instructors Ally Love, Cody Rigsby and Becs Gentry wearing outfits from the new line, according to Page Six.
Like always, the multi-Grammy award-winner makes sure that everything is perfect before she drops anything. #PelotonPark appears to be of the highest quality, just like Beyoncés previous Ivy Park collections. Colors like olive, complementary hues for melanated skin tones, and light-hearted colors like yellow are rampant throughout the collection—in addition to cut-out sports bras and easily layered shirts.
The two brands’ team-up will merge music, sports and fashion.
“The first-of-its-kind collection celebrates the joining of music, sport and fashion,” Adidas said in a press release. “Purposefully crafted to empower everyone on their fitness journey, Adidas x Ivy Park x Peloton is a statement of inclusivity and energetic movement.”
Those who want their very own #PelotonPark original outfit can purchase it starting November 10.
