Saweetie’s food choices are just as creative as she is, and now she is using that creativity in her latest collaboration with McDonald’s. In just a few days all of the icy fans out there can eat just like Saweetie at their local McDonald’s.
Last week, McDonald’s announced that their newest celebrity partnership would be with Saweetie and the signature Saweetie meal would be released on Monday (August 9). Now The Saweetie Meal may seem ordinary, consisting of only a Big Mac, 4-piece nuggets, fries and Sprite, but if you eat it how Saweetie would then it hardly is. Even the meal’s exclusive dipping sauce, Saweetie ‘N Sour, seems like it has an extra oomph that McDonald’s traditional sweet ‘n sour may be lacking.
The “How Saweetie Does It” guide that accompanied the announcement is eccentric, and not for the faint of hearts or those with sensitive stomachs. Putting ketchup on Big Mac buns or sandwiching French fries between two beef patties with no bun is a concoction that sounds questionable yet tasty at the same time.
I guess when you eat McDonald’s as much as Saweetie does then you find new ways to make your McDonald’s order more exciting.
“McDonald’s and I run deep – from growing up back in Hayward, California, all through my college days – so I had to bring my icy gang in on my all-time favorites,” Saweetie said in a statement. “Depending on the mood I’m in, there are so many ways to enjoy my order.”
If you are familiar with Saweetie’s eating habits than Saweetie’s tips on how to eat her new upcoming meal would be of no shock. I mean, would you expect anything less from someone who puts ranch on their spaghetti or puts instant ramen noodles and hot sauce in their hot cheetos? Watching Saweetie arrange food in unconventional ways is just as entertaining as watching her perform on stage.
While some of Saweetie’s food choices may be intimidating, The Saweetie Meal doesn’t seem to be scaring curious foodies off.
“me outside waiting for McDonald’s to open to get a Saweetie Meal,” one fan tweeted with a smile emoji.
Some fans are even approve of the “How Saweetie Does It” guide for The Saweetie Meal.
“#SaweetieMeal might’ve did somethin,” a fan tweeted.
