Lauren London co-stars with Michael B. Jordan in the upcoming Amazon Prime film “Without Remorse.”
On Wednesday (March 3) the full movie trailer was released, showcasing London as the pregnant wife of Michael B. Jordan. Seeing London in the trailer was a nice surprise, adding a deeper level of interest to the movie since this is her first movie appearance in three years. Michael B. Jordan gingerly kissing London’s pregnant belly is the calmest part of the trailer, foreshadowing a terrible occurrence that leads Jordan on a warpath.
According to Hollywood Life, “The film features Michael as Navy SEAL Senior Chief Officer John Kelly, whose life with his stunning, pregnant wife Pam Kelly (Lauren) is completely shattered when masked soldiers from Russia target the two in a violent raid on his home in the U.S., a retaliation for John’s involvement in a top-secret mission. John (Michael) is left completely wounded, seemingly shot two or three times during the rampage that takes the life of his wife and unborn child. But the people who committed the atrocity have another thing coming.”
London’s return to the movies is well welcomed, especially if it is alongside hearthrob and movie superstar Michael B. Jordan. After the loss of long-term boyfriend and rap superstar Nipsey Hussle, London had taken time away from the industry to mourn.
During her time away from acting she has “devoted time to helping others with similar experiences, speaking to a group of teenage girls who also lost loved ones to gun violence,” according to USA Today.
London holding off acting and leading a more privatized life even subjected her to baseless pregnancy rumors earlier this year. The rumors were quickly dispelled by London herself, gaining much backlash from the publication that published the untrue story. For readers that are still wondering, London’s pregnancy belly in “Without Remorse” is fake.
Irrespective of everything that has happened during London’s hiatus from our screens, her return is highly appreciated.

Additionally, the beloved London and Jordan will also be joined by fellow A-list actors Jodie-Turner Smith, Jamie Bell and Guy Pearce for the film. The action-packed film will premiere on April 30.
