In just a couple months, Girl Scout cookies will avail a new flavor for people to try.
On September 9, the Girl Scouts of the USA announced that they’ll be launching a new cookie flavor called Exploremores. This follows the Girl Scouts’ collaboration with Pop-Tarts earlier this year.
In a press release, the Girl Scouts of USA described their new flavor, Exploremores, as a “Rocky Road ice cream-inspired sandwich cookie.” Rocky Road is a mix of mini flavors such as chocolate, marshmallow, almond, cookies, and cream. It’s a popular ice cream flavor and represents the exploration of Girl Scouts.
The organization states that the cookies “reflect the spirit of exploration at the heart of every Girl Scout.”
The official launch of the cookies will happen in 2026 during Girl Scout cookie season, which runs from January to April. They will be available at all locations throughout the country. Despite adding new flavors, some cookie flavors will be discontinued by the end of 2025. One of the two flavors that will be retired. Will be S’mores and Toast-Yay! According to the spokesperson for Girl Scouts USA, a notice was already given to the customers about the flavors being discontinued.
With the two flavors being retired, they will soon be replaced with a 2026 lineup, Some 2025 flavors making returns. the following lineup features Thin Mints, Samoas/Caramel deLites, peanut butter patties/Tagalongs, Adventurefuls, caramel chocolate chip, lemonades, lemon ups, toffee tastic, Trefoils, peanut butter sandwich/Do-si-dos.
“Through collaboration with Adobe, girls will be encouraged to express their individuality and think creatively to advance their goals, this Girl Scout cookie season.” Said GSUSA.
Proceeds that are made from each item sale will be going to troops and councils to fund programs throughout the year.
“Each cookie season throughout the Girl Scout cookie program, girls push their limits, embrace challenges, and then creatively and believe in their own potential,” GSUSA said.
With the experience, Girl Scouts can develop leadership capabilities alongside entrepreneurship skills. These skills will allow them to set goals, manage money, and develop people skills as well as business skills.
