Hung Vanngo, a well-known makeup artist, is developing a new line of products. Collaborating with brands such as Sephora, Vanngo plans to bring red carpet styles to makeup bags.
Vanngo, the pro-makeup artist behind viral Instagram accounts and looks such as Selena Gomez, with her bright green eyeshadow and red lipstick contrast. He also worked with actors, such as Jennifer Lawrence, who went viral due to controversy.
People always look to him for starstruck beauty. Now, he’s stepping up and creating his own beauty line, Hung Vanngo Beauty.
Vanngo’s new makeup line’s goal is to be user-friendly. “This collection is all about high impact wearable makeup that’s easy to use so no matter your skill level you can create something beautiful,” he stated.
Vanngo’s beauty line is set to launch September 8, with its premise being to bring out people’s confident features.
Vanngo spoke about this in an interview with Glamour and stated, “I created Hung Vanngo beauty to help everyone feel confident and seen.”
He detailed the importance of wanting his products to work with all types of skin, textures, and styles, adding, “I took my time developing each product because it was important to me that they reflect everything. I’ve learned over the years working with all skin tones, textures, and styles.”
This product line features various color ranges and skin makeup, eyeshadow, eyeliner, soft velvet lipstick, long-wear lip liner, and blushes.
His highly pigmented products come in various colors, especially the soft velvet Kohl and long-wear liners. With these pigments, these products are built for long-lasting use.
Some of the color shades reference Vanngo’s life and career. For example, his blush shades have names such as “single mother,” “full circle,” “legacy,” and “possibilities.” These names come from his life as an immigrant from Vietnam and his experiences.
He used simple formulas to create products such as his creamy matte lipstick. The same formula is used to make the long-wear lip liner, the blurring bronzer, and makeup blushes. This formula was made to combat powerful social media filters and replicate them in real life.
“I don’t even know how to process Patrick Tile and Hung Vanngo being Vietnamese artist with brands this huge my inner child is kicking her feet,” someone commented on TikTok.
