Kim Kardashian heads to late night to announce her newest business venture.
The fashion mogul visited The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday to announce her collaboration with Apple-owned Beats Headphones. The Beats x Kim over-the-ear Beats Pro headphones are available in Kardashian’s three “signature” colors: variations of neutral tans and browns. These colors were first seen in her shapewear and clothing company, Skims, which she co-founded in 2019.
According to the Indian Express, Beats Pro “have been engineered for optimal clarity, with near-zero distortion even at high volume” and come with a digital processor that adds a “balanced sound profile crafted to bring out the subtle details of whatever you’re listening to.”
Kardashian and Fallon participate in a friendly competition to see which Beats headphones win. Fallon displays his version, joking that “mustard yellow” would be fun. The audience laughs as Kardashian gives a side-eye and quips, “I’m sure there’s a market for it.” The crowd cheers as Kardashian and Fallon unveil a giant poster showing Kardashian as the “winner,” sending everyone in Fallon’s audience home with a pair of Beats x Kim. The headphones retail at $349.99 and are available online at Apple and Amazon.
Kim K’s Second Collab With Beats
This is Kardashian’s second collab with Beats, the first being in 2022, when she partnered with the brand for the Beats Pro Earbuds. The 43-year-old reality star also talked about the four children she co-parents with her ex-husband, Kanye West, on the late-night show. Kardashian told Fallon, “I love to travel solo with each of my kids because bonding time is like this.
I always do a soccer trip with my oldest son.” She says she has brought her son, Saint, worldwide to see sporting events. “We are going to Spain to see the first Real Madrid game soon. It’s pretty nutty that I’ve traveled the world for my kids’ interests, but it’s fun.”
Kim has a lot on her plate, especially with her new Beats collab. Beats by Dre, co-founded in 2006 by music producer, rapper, and icon Dr. Dre, released its original headphones. The company focuses on the bass in a song, leaning towards hip-hop and pop music. Its product line also includes earbuds, speakers, and car audio.
Kim’s Rise to Fame
Kardashian is the cornerstone of the reality-show-turned-business ventures family, The Kardashians. Once reality star fame hit in 2007 with the family’s first hit show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kardashian and her four siblings founded their own companies, with her younger half-sister Kylie Jenner earning success with her Kylie Cosmetics line worth $700 million. Khloe Kardashian runs the billion-dollar company Good American. The oldest Kardashian sister, Kourtney Kardashian, is heading up a 65 million-dollar business in Poosh and Lemme. Kendall Jenner’s 818 Tequila brings in about $25 million. Kardashian’s net worth tops all of them with a net worth of $1.7 billion.
