Clinique Collabs With Hello Kitty For The Japanese Brand’s 50th Anniversary

Hello Kitty is celebrating its 50th anniversary year with a new campaign with the Clinique Brand.

According to CBR, the Clinique x Hello Kitty collaboration has also released Hello Kitty sets that can be purchased separately. The sets feature Clinique-exclusive skincare and beauty products such as cleaners, moisturizers, anti-wrinkle and dark spot creams, and mascara. The products are packaged as individual collections inside the available pouches.

The collab will also showcase a limited-edition Hello Kitty design that features Kitty White (Hello Kitty’s real name) wearing a consultant uniform lab coat with a green bow instead of her iconic red one. Other featured products include an original Hello Kitty handkerchief and two types of drawstring pouches, all of which showcase the new artwork. 

Although only available in Japan now, the Hello Kitty brand is not retiring anytime soon. The collab will give customers these items as free bonuses based on their spending. 6,600 yen (about $46 US dollars) is the minimum requirement for the handkerchief and 8,800 yen (about $61 US dollars) or more allows the customer to choose the drawstring pouch (both including tax). 

Clinique is an American company based in New York, and the collaboration will soon hit the United States. The campaign began on July 31 and will go until September 30, 2024. 

Recently, the Hello Kitty franchise collaborated with RAZER on a new gaming chair and other technology products, such as an RGB Bluetooth headset with Hello Kitty ears retailing at $139.99, an RGB tenkeyless keyboard selling for $119.99, a Hello Kitty and Friends mousepad, and a wireless mouse that costs $89.99. The highlight is the Razer Enki X—Hello Kitty and Friends Edition Essential Gaming Chair for $549.99.
