Metro Boomin’s Girlfriend Still Follows Drake After His Anti-Drake Rant on X

As the ongoing beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar rages on, big-time hip-hop producer Metro Boomin remains in the mix. Metro Boomin is partially responsible for Drake and Lamar’s current diss war since Metro allowed Lamar to drop the explosive verse that ignited it all on his and Future’s record Like That.

Drake has since slammed Metro on the record, telling him on his song Pushups that the fellow music-maker needed to “shut his ho a** up and make some drums.” Metro shot back at Drake with the recently released track BBL Drizzy. BBL Drizzy is a shady nickname Rick Ross gave the OVO rapper in his own Drake diss, Champagne Moments. While Metro’s song was a beat only, he launched the anti-Drake X campaign #BBLDrizzyBeatGiveaway to accompany his song drop.

“Best verse over this gets a free beat. Just upload your song and hashtag #bbldrizzybeatgiveaway,” Metro proposed on X, fka Twitter, yesterday, encouraging fans to diss Drake over his beat.

Metro’s harsh attack against Drake was not only for Pushups, but also for the Toronto native’s other diss track, Family Matters, which was released Friday. The track targeted him, Future, Lamar, and Metro’s girlfriend, makeup artist Chelsea Cotton.

In Family Matters, Drake alleged that Chelsea cheated on Metro. The beats creator wasted no time denying Drake’s claim about his girl being unfaithful as he took to X early Sunday morning to shoot it down.

“…Nobody ever hit my girl nigga we grew up together she’s a real woman and not even in the industry but I guess #youwouldntknownunboutdatttt,” Metro said in one of the many X posts he wrote about Drake Sunday.

Although Metro and Drake aren’t on the same page at the moment, Drake still appears to be okay in Metro’s girlfriend, makeup artist Chelsea Cotton’s book. Chelsea continues to follow Drake on Instagram through her personal Instagram page @_cottonball_ despite him feuding with her man.

Some fans took to Reddit to share their thoughts on Metro Boomin’s girlfriend still following Drake.

“Imagine starting ww3 over a lash technician,” a Reddit user assumed on the platform.

“Bro is going out bad,” another user commented.

Someone else mentioned: “Metro Boomin spiraling on Twitter over his girl whole time she follows Drake.”

Metro might not have been spiraling, but he definitely was ranting about Drake throughout May 5 on X.

In one X post where he reshared throwback photos of Drake sporting blackface, he wrote, “I still can’t believe these pictures are even real It all makes sense now #colonizer.”

Meanwhile, in another tweet Metro, claimed that Drake attempted to get Like That from getting radio play.

“I’m lame but the first week after #LikeThat you tried to block it at radio. I been sitting on this email for a month now but was just sparing you oh u aint #LikeThat record???, his X post read.

The producer also shared a screenshot of an email he got on April 1 from Epic Records rep that said Like That couldn’t be released on the radio.

There seems to be no end in sight for the rap beef.
