Subway Has Revamped Their Menu—Relaunches Roast Beef

Subway has a new revamped sub-sandwich menu that will fulfill all the foodie desires of the health conscious, and those that are just seeking flavorful subs. Over the years Subway has altered their menu, replacing and removing items while also maintaining their staple sandwiches.

The latest adjustment of Subway’s food menu was started by the sandwich brand in July of 2021, completing this year. On Tuesday (Jan.18), Subway introduced two new delicious sandwiches, in addition to bringing back some fan-favorites to their fresh restaurant menu, according to QSR.

“These menu updates kick off another year of transformation for Subway, as it continues the journey that began in 2021 with the Eat Fresh Refresh — with even more new ingredients, sandwiches, sauces and sweets still to come,” according to QSR. Tasty subs that are the newest addition to the chain sandwich restaurant are the Baja Turkey Avocado and the Honey Mustard Rotisserie-Style Chicken.

Both sandwiches are made with Subway’s healthy multigrain bread, and include a healthy dosage of fresh vegetables like spinach, red onions, cucumbers and tomatoes. Each sandwich is packed with vitamin K—vitamin K is good for building and sustaining healthy bones, according to Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

“Vitamin K helps to make various proteins that are needed for blood clotting and the building of bones,” according to the HSPH. “Prothrombin is a vitamin K-dependent protein directly involved with blood clotting. Osteocalcin is another protein that requires vitamin K to produce healthy bone tissue. Vitamin K is found throughout the body including the liver, brain, heart, pancreas, and bone.”

Subway has veggie-filled subs for those looking for healthier fast food options, and also subs for those who like to enjoy Subway on their cheat-food day. Popular meat-centric Subway faves and newbies added include, the Roast Beef, Baja Steak & Jack, Baja Chicken & Bacon, Turkey Cali Fresh and the Subway Club, according to QSR.
