Season seven Love Island stars Nicholas Vasteenberghe and Olandria Carthen have been no strangers to the spotlight in the past couple of months. Since finishing second in the finale, the new couple has secured multiple brand deals and walked in numerous fashion shows.
Nic has been on a successful tour, while Olandria has appeared on multiple magazine covers, including Vogue and Bazaar. Despite a successful run, the couple is also no stranger to controversy.
Just recently, the couple, often referred to as Nicolandria, was spotted in Vegas attending multiple events, including a Celsius brand partnership. During the night in question, Nic, alongside his father, attended the Sports Illustrated Celsius after-party at club XS.
However, things quickly turn sour that night after a TikToker went online and made allegations towards Nic in a now deleted TikTok making statements such as this.
“When you’re working at the spicy club and see a certain Love Islander, who you thought was supposed to be in a committed relationship,” the TikToker referred to as Destiny wrote.
People quickly went to her comments and asked who she was referring to. Despite not saying anything, it was strongly implied who she was talking about. When someone in the comments wrote who, another person commented Nic and Destiny was seen liking the comment which caused a lot of rumors and speculations.
Rumors were fueled further when Destiny soon posted pictures of the alleged encounter. In the hard-to-see photo, you can see Vansteenberghe and an alleged stripper. Soon, Nic started receiving massive backlash.
However, upon further research, the nightclub Nic attended was not a strip club; it was a regular club at the Wynn, and the woman was a bottle girl.
When more people started researching the club and finding confusion in Destiny’s claims, she soon took the social media to clear things up.
“I was being a bit messy by posting this not gonna lie, but I feel like a lot of partners let their significant other go to the club. I’m not sure their dynamic.” She continued, “I just thought it was so random and funny, but there were bigger people that were there, like way bigger people.”
Destiny was soon exposed on TikTok live after her friend Sia made claims that she asked Destiny was asked to post the video so they can go viral.
“I feel like I have to take responsibility because I told her to do it. I was literally texting her, you should do it. You should make a TikTok about it. This would be so funny like it would go viral,” Sia said.
Soon enough, Sia then sent Kahlen, a content creator, three screenshots of the conversation with Destiny, detailing the encounter in which she revealed that Nic allegedly turned Destiny down and didn’t receive any dances from anyone.
So far, neither Nic nor Olandria has commented on this incident.
