Love and romance are still strong for the famous couple Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet.
According to RadarOnline.com, Jenner has been making Chalamet eat more junk food.
“Kylie’s encouraging Timothee to eat more steaks and burgers, but he’s not going to do that,” said a source.
According to friends, this is because he prefers a vegetarian diet.
“It’s also how he’s wired in terms of metabolism, but Kylie still thinks he’d look better with more definition. She’s used to dating slight but muscular men,” the source remarked.
According to GeoNews, Chalamet reportedly sparked an anorexia craze.
Even early in his career, the Dune 3 star was advised to change his body. Last year, he went into more detail in an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe.
“If I auditioned for The Maze Runner or Divergent — things of that variety that were popping when I was coming up—feedback was always, ‘Oh, you don’t have the right body,’” he said. “I had an agent that called me and said, ‘You’ve got to put on weight,’ basically not aggressively, but you know.”
Despite this, he still decided to follow his own path. He often would compare his journey to that of Bob Dylan.
“This is where I found my rhythm, my confidence, my flow, whatever you want to call it,” Chalamet said.
Chalamet also says he found his way by making “personalized movies,” which were smaller films that eventually earned him Academy Award nominations for Best Actor. However, this didn’t make this move immune to criticism.
“Some of these guys look close to death, but they think they look great and say they are inspired by a new breed of stars like Timothee,” said a new insider.
Critics have cautioned Chalamet not to mention his weight.
“Critics argue that Chalament should exercise caution in discussing his weight, particularly in relation to people such as Dylan, as the notion of being 20lbs lighter may set an unhealthy precedent for young admirers who aspire to emulate his look. Such discussions could inadvertently glorify dangerous ideals in body image,” said critics.
In response, during a recent appearance on NPR’s All Things Considered, Chalamet responded to the criticism.
“I did all the work, like you just described, physicality, behavior-wise. But something we haven’t talked really talked about, I also put on 20 lbs because, believe it or not, I was thinner than the guy, you know?” he said.
