Lamar Odom Finally Reunites With Ex-Wife Khloe Kardashian

Time heals all wounds. Wise words from someone who knows. And certainly Kardashians star Khloe Kardashian and former NBA player Lamar Odom seem to believe those words to be true as well.

Odom recently revealed that he and his ex-wife Khloe had a reunion. Armed with a dozen red roses, Odom says he arrived at Kardashian’s home in the hopes of forging a friendship. He says “I wouldn’t say we are back together. It would be a blessing to be her friend.”

Odom revealed details of their meeting during a recent podcast episode of The Kyle and Jackie O Show.

Odom says the meeting was brought on by the encouragement of Kardashian’s BFF, Malika Haaq. Odom and Haaq crossed paths one night in Las Vegas and she told him he should reach out to her. He says, “She came to me and said, ‘You know Lamar, I think it’s time for you and Khloe, it’s been years. You haven’t seen her if you’re up for it, I think I could make it happen.”

This meeting is a bit of a surprise for fans and possibly even Kardashian herself as she and Odom divorced in 2013 after a very messy and public breakup. They married in 2009 after only knowing each other for a month and the divorce came after Odom allegedly cheated on her.

Later, stories of drug abuse and a DUI arrest were enough to put the nail in the coffin for Kardashian. During divorce proceedings, Odom was found unconscious in a Las Vegas brothel, rushed to the hospital and found with cocaine in his system. Kardashian put the divorce on hold as she acted as his caretaker during that time. Their divorce was finalized in late 2016.

Odom revealed, “So much time has passed and people change.” He says he has “changed for the better.” Odom, now 45 years old, has been sober for a decade after the life-threatening overdose. Speaking to a crowd at an event for The Hope Shot, Odom says talking to others about his plight is important to him. Odom confessed it “helps my sobriety. So anything that helps my sobriety, I’m totally here for it.” The Hope Shot is a recovery community program in Florida.

Kardashian is also keeping in touch with another ex, this time the father of her two children, Tristan Thompson. A source close to the star says Thompson spent the recent Christmas holiday with his family. Despite having broken up in 2019, Thompson does his best to stay involved with his children.
