Baths and showers are a necessity when it comes to good hygiene, however for some individuals bathing isn’t always a daily activity. In Mila Kunis’ and Ashton Kutcher’s household, cleansing your body is something that can be skipped if need be.
On an episode of Dax Shepard’s podcast “Armchair Expert” the Kutcher’s kept it candid about their views on bathing, admitting that they only make sure certain parts are cleaned everyday. Quick washing may be cool every now and again, but to only wash half your body day-to-day is a revelation that you think most people would be unwilling to cop to.
Even “Armchair Expert” co-host Monica Padman inquired about Mila and Ashton’s reasoning for only partially washing, asking “Who taught you not to wash?” The burning question came after Shepard, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher all agreed that using soap daily rids the body of natural oils, hence why the Kutcher’s only take partial baths.
“I didn’t have hot water growing up as a child so I didn’t shower very much anyway,” Kunis said.
Kunis continued the “minimal body cleaning” tradition with her and Ashton’s two kids, Wyatt, 6, and Dimitri, 4. “I wasn’t that parent that bathed my newborns, ever,” Kunis said.
Even though their kids are far past newborns, and now are active young children, Ashton and Mila still don’t require that their kids wash consistently. “If you can see the dirt on them, clean them,” he said. “Otherwise, there’s no point.”
Kutcher only washes his “armpits and crotch daily and nothing else ever,” while Ms. Kunis washes her face twice a day.
