Trap soul singer Brent Faiyaz invests back into Black women entrepreneurs with his new Show U Off Grant. On Monday (March 15) Brent Faiyaz tweeted the digital flyer for his Show U Off Grant, accepting submissions for the grant for only 24 hours.
Those interested in receiving the grant must submit a one minute video explaining the following: Your business or startup, who your business serves, a challenge your business has overcome in the past and how the grant will help you get started.
Faiyaz new grant seems befitting since he dropped his empowering music visual for his new romantic single “Show U Off” during Women’s History Month. The “Show U Off” music visual highlighted the resiliency of Black women in addition to Faiyaz’s appreciation for his fellow Black woman. Faiyaz even included some of his family members in the “Show U Off’ music visual, according to Complex.
Unlike the typical Brent Faiyaz song, which often outlines the toxicity in relationships, “Show U Off” exemplifies the proper way to uplift the special lady in your life. Prior to the release of “Show U Off” Faiyaz released “Gravity” with rapper Tyler The Creator in late January of this year.
Although Faiyaz has dropped some singles to kick off the year, Faiyaz has yet to drop another album. While some fans are still content replaying his 2020 project “F**k The World,” many are anticipating his next project.
“Brent faiyaz gave us 5 songs in 2021 and dropped deadman walking last year .. NEW ALBUM IS COMIN YO,” one Twitter user tweeted.
In the meantime we still have two awesome new singles that we can add to our Spotify playlists while we wait on another dope album from the chill singer Brent Faiyaz. Even if Faiyaz doesn’t drop any more new music, it’s good that he at least is dropping money in the pockets of aspiring businesswomen with his Show U Off Grant.
