Paul Walker’s Daughter Meadow Walker Opens The 2021 Fall/Winter Givenchy Fashion Show

Paul Walker’s daughter Meadow Walker works the runway for the Fall/Winter Givenchy show. On Sunday (March 7) Walker reposted a short video clip of herself strutting down an empty Givenchy runway in a gothic-chic Givenchy outfit as the show’s opener. 

“Exclusive Debut. Opening Givenchy FW21. Thank you Matt for your complete support and determination to safely get me to Paris from NY. Congratulations on your first Givenchy show @matthewmwilliams! Grazie mille @pg_dmcasting. Thank you to everyone involved. Endless gratitude and love for you all Xx #givenchyfw21,” Walker said in the caption of her video.

Alongside Walker in the Givenchy show were other familiar faces like Bella Hadid and Jourdan Dunn.

According to Page Six, “supporting from home in their new Givenchy looks were Kendall Jenner, Laura Dern, Anne Hathaway, Kim Kardashian, Kate Moss, Venus Williams and more celebrities.”

This may be Walker’s first time walking the catwalk, however this isn’t her first modeling gig. Walker broke into the modeling world as the newest face for Proenza Schouler’s Pre-Fall 2021 lookbook.  Although Walker signed with DNA Models agency in 2017, she didn’t land her first major campaign until Proenza Schouler. 

While some fashion models may miss the people packed fashion shows, Meadow Walker admitted that she was relieved that the venue would be closed to the public due to the pandemic. 

“I was just thinking if it was completely filled and I was walking on the runway, I’d be absolutely terrified,” she shared during her takeover of the Vogue social media accounts.

Luckily, the 22-year-old rookie model was able to experience her first show in a less nerve-racking environment. Walker’s ascension in the modeling world coincides with the anniversary of her late father’s and “Fast & Furious” actor Paul Walker’s passing.

According to ET Online, “Meadow’s big moment comes three months after the seven-year anniversary of her father’s tragic death. “Silly day to remember in sadness,” Meadow wrote in a tribute post shared to Instagram at the time. “Today’s a celebration of the love and happiness you brought to the world. Here’s a photo of my best bud & I napping.”
