Celebrity Hairstylist Dionte ‘Arrogant Tae’ Gray Offers A Hair Master Class With Lala Anthony

Celebrity hairstylist and wig trendsetter Dionte “Arrogant Tae” Gray is linking up with television personality Lala Anthony for a hair master class. Best known for installing and styling beautifully designed lace front wigs, Arrogant Tae will be offering his expertise to those novice to the wig world.

According to the Arrogant Tae Hair Master Class website, those who attend the class will “learn techniques [like] melting the lace, creating baby hair, [and] cutting layers in a wig.” Tae also will be using LaLa as his model to demonstrate the wig application. 

Alongside LaLa, other notable celebrities whose lace has been graced by Arrogant Tae include Nicki Minaj, Kylie Jenner, JT from City Girls, Blac Chyna and many others. Although it seems Tae has rapidly become the most sought out hairstylist, his journey as a hairstylist actually begun when he was just a pre-teen.

“I started doing hair at 11 or 12 years old, and I would always do my mom’s friends’ kids’ hair and my little sisters’ hair,” Tae told Hype Hair. “Right after high school, I attended Paul Mitchell in Chicago to improve my skills. Then I started working at a salon in downtown Chicago.”

Soon after Tae finished high school he took his talents to Georgia to pursue his passion.

“I would always tell people, ‘I want to be a celebrity hairstylist, and move to Atlanta to follow my dreams!’ So I packed up my stuff, and my cousin and I drove to Atlanta in 2015 with only $1000,” Tae tells Hype Hair.

Instantly Tae had his first major client.

“Within a few weeks, I started working with my first celebrity client,” Tae told Hype Hair. “Everything took off from there; having faith and hard work paid off!”

From then until now Arrogant Tae has soared in the world of hairstyling, and now he will finally let us in on some of his secrets. This new master class—which will be virtually held March 7th—is a timely event since more hair lovers are aspiring to have their tresses blessed by Arrogant Tae. Although Tae can’t style everyone, he is at least providing individuals a learning opportunity.
