It seems like Denny’s has jumped on the trend of creating viral foods, just like other fast food restaurants. They recently launched an expansion meal deal on their menu, starting at $5.99.
The beloved breakfast spot brought back some fan favorites, such as the salty caramel banana slams. In 2026, Denny’s has a lot to offer.
Denny’s, also known as America’s diner, made this launch just this month. This expanded menu features a breakfast quesadilla, a two-meat scrambler, the two-egg breakfast, lamb, a fish sandwich with fries, and a grand slam burrito.
Denny’s is reviving a flavor in three different ways. The flavor they brought back was caramel banana slams, which you can add to fluffy buttermilk pancakes, fresh banana slices, and salted caramel hash browns, with a choice of bacon and sausage as sides.
However, this is not the only version. There’s also the French toast version, with banana, salted caramel, and powdered sugar, served with eggs and any breakfast meat. Along with the food, Denny’s decided to add some other flavors, such as matcha salted caramel and sweet, creamy superb additions, to this otherwise classic menu.
The senior vice president and chief brand officer states that they don’t want their fans to settle for boring meals and that every dollar is well spent.
“By January 12 the novelty of restrictive resolution wears off a guest are ready to reclaim their joy. We know our fans don’t want to settle for boring meals. They want food that is unapologetically, crave, comforting, and provide the kind of value that makes every dollar feel well spent,” Senior Vice President and Chief Brand Officer at Denny’s, Ellie Doty said.
She also mentioned that these five-dollar meals are filled with lovable flavors and aim to start the year a little bit sweeter.
“Our Slammin’ meal deals starting at $5.99 value meal delivers for meals with the flavors people love, plus the return of the salted caramel banana flavors, making starting the year a little sweeter,” Doty added.
