Reality star Kim Kardashian has once again made headlines by highlighting her recent accomplishments. She has graduated from the Law Office Study Program and will soon follow in the footsteps of her father, Robert Kardashian Sr, who was a defense attorney for O.J. Simpson.
This recent news was revealed to fans by videos of a backyard ceremony with friends and family. The Keeping Up With Kardashians star posted on her Instagram May 21 celebrating the achievement.
“I finally graduated law school after six years,” she wrote in her caption. The celebration footage itself was filmed by sister Khloe Kardashian. In her own Instagram story she wrote, “I am so proud of Kim. I just left your celebration lunch for graduating law school. I mean I cannot believe this is years and years in the making,” also in the video, her legal star mentor Van Jones was caught saying, “I am trying not to get emotional. Thank you, Kim Kardashian.”
He also said, “Six years ago, seven years ago, when you were working on criminal justice, you were not embraced by anybody,” he continued. “You were working with people who were thrown away often by their own families. You’re working with people who were literally one step from the grave.”
Some of the gifts she received for graduating were from Scott Disick. One gift was a pink three-tiered cake featuring stacked law books with “Legally Graduated” and a small banner saying “Kim is my Lawyer.”
Since graduating, Kardashian has shared her journey of pursuing her dreams.
“It wasn’t easy, and it took longer than planned, but I never gave up,” she wrote. “Each course brought moments of doubt, tears, and triumph, especially when I conquered subjects I initially feared. That’s the beauty of life: you step into the unknown, push through, and emerge with knowledge and strength no one can take away.”
“I chose a rigorous program registered with the California State Bar building on 75 college credits to complete a four-year curriculum that stretched into six,” she continued. “The journey was real, and so is the accomplishment.”
Kardashian then spoke about how valuable this journey was.
“This experience has shaped me profoundly and I’ll carry its lessons with me forever,” she then finished with, “Here’s to celebrating resilience in new beginnings!”
Kim Kardashian took interest in criminal justice reform back in 2018.
