Lily Collins made her character Emily Cooper from the Netflix series Emily in Paris proud at the Season Four premiere, which was held in Los Angeles, California, on August 14.
Emily Cooper is a known fashionista, and Lily Collins, 35, embodied her. On the day of the premiere, Collins opted for a custom black Armani Prive gown that paid homage to Cooper’s life in Paris by showcasing the glam and opulence that evening.
The strapless gown was designed with multiple sequins on the bodice and a peplum effect at the waist, which was also covered in sequins. The dress’s skirt has an embroidered translucent checkboard print that gave a glimpse of Collins’ legs.
According to Vogue, the gown was accessorized with dangle drop diamond earrings, her wedding band, and a single silver ring. Her hair was styled in a new bob, straight and sleek. Collin’s makeup was kept simple, with brown eyeshadow and nude lipstick.
Andrew Mukamal styled Collins for that evening. Mukamal is no stranger to the fashion world either, as he played a key role as Margot Robbie’s stylist throughout the Barbie (2023) press tour. The day before the Season Four premiere, Collins and the rest of Emily in Paris cast made their debut in a mix of chic looks, ranging from Collins in a sophisticated Saint Laurent dress of burgundy and brown and Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu’s naked dress, also by Saint Laurent.
Ashley Park, Lucien Laviscount, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, and William Abadie were also in attendance.
Collins tells People that fans will, “finally get to see a little bit of what they’ve been waiting for” in this upcoming season.”
She added: “Well, we start out with a failed wedding and a baby on the way and love feelings expressed within a love triangle. And this season we get to see a choice being made and the decision that comes with that and what unfolds.”
Season 4, part 1 of Emily in Paris premiered on Thursday.
