Britney Spears Fans Speculate Who Allegedly Stole The Pop Star’s Jewelry

Britney Spears has made a shocking claim on social media that has people speculating.

On Sunday, Spears posted a video on Instagram that showed her opening a few empty jewelry drawers within a jewelry box in her house.

“I’ll show you guys for real, all my jewelry was stolen,” the Crossroads star narrated as she opened each drawer. Spears claimed that someone had stolen her jewelry, leaving only one particular item.

“It’s all gone,” the Grammy-winning singer explained as she panned between two empty jewelry boxes. “All my jewelry is gone.” 

Spears’ post’s caption further explained her feelings about being allegedly robbed.

“So you can see for real all my jewelry was stolen…It’s hard to buy new now because I’m scared it will go missing. So I buy it cheap and fake, but it’s hard because some of my pieces were originally made for me…and my baby cross that I wore since I was 4 is gone…It’s so thin,” she wrote.

Tons of the singer-songwriter’s fans expressed their support for Spears on X, fka Twitter, as she navigates this tough time.

“I can imagine how she feels, they must have cost millions of dollars. I hope they find the culprits,” a fan confessed on X.

Another added: “We’re praying the person who did this will be caught.”

Meanwhile, someone else mentioned, “Omg who stole all her jewelry?! That is totally wrong and messed up. I’m sorry Queen!”

Additionally, many people theorized who could potentially be behind the alleged robbery.

“Is it her housekeeper? or chef? Is it that dude shes hooking up with? Why is she always surrounded by thieves,” one X user wrote, adding a sad face emoji.

“I just know Justin Timberlake had something to do with this,” a second person speculated.

“Was this recent? Could be some of her friends or assistants then,” another asked.

The Toxic crooner has been overcoming quite a bit lately. In addition to sharing that she was allegedly stolen from in an Instagram video, Spears also revealed via Instagram on Sunday that she was recovering from a two-month-long cold.

Before that, Spears made headlines after the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to an injured female at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, California, on May 2. At the time, the entertainer was pictured barefoot and covered in a blanket. However, a spokesperson for the LAFD denied that anyone was transported in an ambulance or that the police department was called. 

The Mickey Mouse Club alum released a statement about the incident, clarifying that she actually had twisted her ankle.

“Just to let people know…the news is fake !!! I would like respect at this time for people to understand I am getting stronger everyday !!! Truth sucks so can someone teach me how to lie?” shared via Instagram on May 2. “Goddesses out there, I’m reaching my higher power and furthermore, I hope you guys are too !!! I need a new toothbrush right now.”

She concluded: “PS … I need an espresso !!! PSS … Not sure why I feel the need to share this … I guess I’m just a girl and I’m on my period so I’m bitchy … shit !!! I also twisted my ankle last night and paramedics showed up at my door illegally. They never came in my room but I felt completely harassed. I’m moving to Boston !!! Peace.”

The erratic messages from Spears are likely to cause some uneasiness, with many hoping that these are just a series of unconnected unfortunate events and not anything indicative of a larger issue regarding the singer.
