SZA is an artist many of us go to when we want to dance, cry, relax or recenter our inner self. Taking over the summer of 2017 with her debut album release CTRL, for the last four years SZA has had everyone’s emotions and music playlists in a chokehold.
For the last few years fans have been anxiously waiting for SZA’s sophomore album, hoping that the new project would be dropping sooner than later. Many fans of the Good Days singer felt overjoyed after the release date for SZA’s new music project was purportedly revealed over the weekend.
“SZA DROPPING THE SAME DAY AS SUMMER WALKER…….NOV 5 DO NOT TALK TO MEEEEE,” a fan tweeted.
Another fan reiterated SZA’s album drop date, exposing what SZA’s second album will allegedly be named. “SZA has just announced her 2nd studio album titled “Alt” dropping November 5th,” a fan tweeted.
With all the talk surrounding new SZA music, album release dates and album titles, Alternative R&B fans have been tweeting nonstop about how November can’t get here fast enough. Too bad the songstress won’t be releasing this November 5, and every “confirmation” surrounding SZA’s album drop isn’t true, according to SZA.
“I jus wanna know y y’all think i would drop same time as summer and I’m ON her album like wut,” SZA tweeted. Summer Walker and SZA releasing albums simultaneously would be awesome, however why SZA would choose not to is understandable and displays BBE—Big Bestie Energy. Friends don’t try and steal the spotlight from other friends.
We may not when SZA’s LP is coming, but we do know who might possibly be on it. In an interview with Kerwin Frost she disclosed that she had a few big time features on the upcoming album including, BROCKHAMPTON, Justin Timberlake, Post Malone, and Jack Antonoff., according to TickPick.
Lizzo, Kendrick Lamar and Maroon 5’s lead singer Adam Levine could also be making an appearance on her newest project, contributing different musical elements to the overall album theme.

However long it takes the First Lady of TDE to drop her album is irrelevant as long as it’s magnificent, and from the looks of it— it will be.
