Like McDonald’s, Burger King, and Wendy’s, Arby’s is a well-known fast food chain in the U.S. that the Forrest and Leroy Raffael brothers established in Ohio in July 1964.
Since its beginning, Arby’s has grown in popularity and still competes with other popular fast food chains, some noting the restaurant as their favorite.
“We could argue all day about which fast food chain is the best, but for me, during the warmer months, I tend to crave BBQ, and Arby’s always hits the spot. A juicy, spicy pulled pork sandwich with crispy onion strings,” Ashia Aubourg, writer for Allrecipes, said.
Arby’s has been making buzz on social media after they launched a new menu item just in time for the summer, to the point where people can’t stop talking about it. That is none other than Arby’s new Steak Nuggets.
Just a few days ago, Arby’s introduced this new item on the menu, which fans quickly noticed. Despite being called steak nuggets, the beef isn’t breaded or fried. It’s instead called steak tips, which are small, bite-sized chunks of meat.
One TikTok reviewer, korylivedlife, recently tried them and described the taste as burnt ends. BBQ flavors typically have a brisket taste coupled with smoky and sweet flavors.
Allrecipes recently spoke to an Arby’s representative, who said that only specific locations have the Arby’s nuggets as they are being “tested in certain markets.” These locations include Tulsa, Grand Rapids, Orlando, Jacksonville, and Green Bay. According to the fast food chain, the nuggets are also sold in five-piece and nine-piece orders.
People can pair these nuggets with multiple sides, such as loaded fries, jalapeno bites, and more. The fast food chain currently offers them in two ways.
The steak nugget sandwich is layered with Havarti cheese, crispy onions, tangy pickles, and the fast food chain’s signature sauce, Horsey Sauce, accompanied by a toasted bun.
According to the Arby’s representative, they also offer a bowl full of meaty tips topped with white Cheddar mac and cheese and crispy onions.
So far, the pricing for a five-piece nugget starts at only $4.99, with a nine-piece starting at $8.99. People in these locations where it’s available can buy these menu items. Whether the steak nuggets will go nationwide soon is still in the air. One thing is for sure: Arby’s still has the meats.
