Kanye West Is Caught On Vacay With Supermodel Irina Shayk In France!

Whew chile… it hasn’t even been six months since Kim Kardashian has filed for divorce from Kanye West and he’s already on vacation with a supermodel! Mr. West made sure to make his 44th B-day memorable, taking a trip to Provence, France with Sports Illustrated’s “Industry Icon” Irina Shayk.

On Wednesday (June 9) the Daily Mail revealed photos of the two strolling through France’s countryside side-by-side. According to the Daily Mail, Shayk and West were “staying at a luxury 600-acre boutique hotel together, named Villa La Coste,” on Kanye’s birthday which was Tuesday (June 8).

Kanye was even caught rockin’ a smile, something that was starting to become a rarity for the “All Falls Down” rapper. While neither Shayk nor West have denied or confirmed their relationship, or situationship, it’s becoming more apparent that the long-time friends may become the next “it” couple. 

Despite the circulating rumors, both actor Bradley Cooper (Shayk’s ex-boyfriend) and reality star Kim Kardashian (Kanye’s estranged wife) are unbothered about the two’s alleged pairing. Kim even dedicated birthday posts to her new ex-husband on social media, including the caption “Happy Birthday Love U for Life!” in one and a balloon emoji in the other.

While the nature of West’s and Shayk’s relationship is still mostly speculation, TMZ confirms that they are “100% romantically together.” Some say Kanye is just on the rebound with Shayk, and others think he is just moving onto something new. Really new. It doesn’t take Nancy Drew to uncover the distinctive differences between Shayk, his alleged current lover, and his estranged wife Kim Kardashian. 

No shade, because let’s face it both Kim and Irina are both beautiful slash accomplished respectively, but Ms. Shayk is aesthetically the polar opposite of Kim Kardashian. Even down to the eye color and body structure. Could West’s interest in Shayk stem from the fact she reminds him nothing of Kim, making it easier for him to cope with Kim filing for divorce back in February? 

As in love as Kanye was with Kim, likening their love story to “Romeo and Juliet” during a Hot 97 interview back in 2013, it makes sense why he would get someone opposite Kim. It’s always easier to get over an ex when the new potential bae looks nothing like your former partner.

Aside from that theory, Kanye could just be evolving his relationship with Shayk since they’ve known each other since 2010 and have always had a work relationship. Shayk appeared in West’s 2010 “Power” music video and was featured in his 2012 Yeezy Fashion Show. 

With both keeping tight-lipped amid all of these relationship rumors, it’s unclear what the future entails for them—if they’re even looking to have a future as a unit. Among all of the media theories surrounding Shayk and West, one fact is that Kim “doesn’t mind” if they hook-up. Neither does Bradley Cooper. 

“Kim doesn’t mind because she saw how quiet and respectful Irina was after she broke up with Bradley,” a source told US Weekly.  The source further explained that she “wouldn’t like” to see her estranged husband move on with someone “who’s going to talk to the press.” Cooper and Shayk reportedly split in 2019 after four years together because she wanted “more commitment” from the award-winning actor. 

Sharing the same sentiment as Kim, a source close to Cooper told US Weekly that, “Bradley would be fully supportive of whoever Irina chooses to date — he just wants her to be happy.”

Well, if Kanye and Irina become “Kanrina” it’s good to know that they have Kim’s blessing and their coupling didn’t happen under shady circumstances. Although Kanye has seemingly moved on, Kim is still enjoying her singlehood. Who knows, maybe her and Cooper will link up.
